ViewSonic PJD6 Series DLP projector range announced

The latest PJD6 Series DLP projector range from Viewsonic will comprise of a trio of projectors – where they are known as the PJD6253, PJD6223 and PJD6553w, and they are all Crestron and AMX certified. Not only that, they will also be specifically designed for both classroom and corporate environments, being equally comfortable in either environment. Boasting Crestron RoomView network management software, this software will pave the way for centralized control for up to 250 projectors – delivering you an advanced, real-time alert system which will send status updates concerning power, lamp life and unit presence in order to simplify maintenance efforts

Apart from that, this new range of projectors will also be the first ViewSonic projectors that are AMX certified. ViewSonic’s Smart ECO technology has been thrown into the mix as well, where your wallet will definitely appreciate the automatic energy savings of up to 70%. Not only that, the PJD6 Series’ ECO mode also offer a longer lamp life of up to 6,000 hours. Want to maintain the lamp? That’s easy – just slide the top door open and you’re good to go.

Some of the other features on the 120Hz/3D-ready PJD6 Series include HDMI and multiple PC and video inputs, a Dynamic Movie mode for amazing image contrast, Digital Keystone Correction and a 10-watt integrated speaker. No word on pricing though. [Press Release]
