Archos is pretty much done with the port of Android 4.0.1 aka Ice Cream Sandwich to its Archos G9 tablet, with all the benefits and new features that it implies. Now, the question is: when will users get the update? Archos has hinted that it would land in “Q1 2012”, but as you can imagine, that’s quite a wide range from January to March, and usually a January availability would be described as “Early 2012”, not “Q1 2012”. At least, there is some certainty about this happening relatively soon.  If you are an Archos G9 users — how bad do you want this? Drop a comment to let us know.
