There is one thing that you really need to hand it to the folks over at Apple – they are clearly pacesetters in recent years when it comes to hardware design as well as ease of use in their software. I mean, give any grandpa or grandma an Android-powered phone and they might ditch it after a day’s use in frustration, but hand them an iPhone, and surely they won’t go wrong, with a single button to return to the Home screen, not to mention intuitive and clever use of the operating system. Another thing that came out with the iPad 2 was the Smart Cover, where it offers not only protection for the latest iPad, but interacts with the device thanks to the built-in magnets as well. I guess this is where engineers over at Asus got the idea from – where the Transformer Prime boasts a spanking new origami-inspired smart cover of sorts. You will need to slot the Transformer Prime into a couple of hook-holes on the side of the bezel, where it will then fold into a stand that is full well capable of propping up the tablet at a range of angles. Want to disconnect it? Easy – just give it a gentle pull, and you’re good to go.
