HTC Flyer discontinued, what about the EVO View?Recently it was reported that the HTC Flyer was no longer being sold by Best Buy, it looks like it’s been discontinued since the retailer being the only official outlet where you can get the tablet. But then what about the HTC EVO View? Since the EVO View is essentially the Flyer – just that it packs WiMAX support for Sprint’s network. The folks over at Good and have reported that because the tablet recently received its Honeycomb update, you can expect to stick around for awhile longer – but not much longer.

The HTC EVO View is predicted to be discontinued sometime within the first quarter of 2012, unless Sprint/HTC makes some changes, the tablet is not going to sell very well. It’s being sold at a price too high for a 7″ device in the world of the Kindle Fire and NOOK Tablet, the pen should have been free instead of a separate purchase, Honeycomb should have been released earlier and Sprint no longer has unlimited tablet data. What do you think? Can the EVO View still be saved?
