Interested in running iOS 5.0.1 on your jailbroken iPhone 4? We’ve got some good news for you. The developer known as pod2g is back and this time around he has posted up a new video showing off the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak running on an iPhone 4. The reason for this video? To prove to naysayers who were complaining that the jailbreak only worked on the iPod touch. Well, it looks like they’ve been proven wrong.
However, the jailbreak isn’t still ready to be released to the public, but pod2g did mention that it is near ready for prime time, and we’ll have to wait a few more days. It’s still not working on the iPhone 4S or iPad 2, so those of you with the newer iOS devices will have to wait. Check out the video demonstration:
