Microsoft Answer DeskIf you’ve got any problems with Microsoft products (i.e. Windows, Office, Internet Explorer) and trawling through the internet hasn’t yielded any positive results, you’d probably be inclined to call someone that you know with the technical know how to solve your problem. But what if he/she is out of reach and you need something answered immediately? That’s where Microsoft’s Answer Desk comes in.

The company has silently launched its new premium hotline service that has professionally trained Answer Techs who can diagnose and troubleshoot your Microsoft software related issues. In addition to answering your queries, you’ll be able to use the Microsoft Answer Desk to get some personal training if you’d like to learn how to use certain software.

While all this support definitely seems great, one thing to note that it’s not going to be cheap: for one hour of personal training on software – you’ll need to pay $49. For advanced PC Tune up, you’ll need to pay $99, and for virus removal you’ll need to pay $99 as well. Definitely not for the broke – but in times of emergencies, this 24/7 hotline could save your life (not literally of course). At the moment the service is only available to folks in the US, find out more.
