Remember our earlier story on how the MotoACTV fitness device received its latest software update that makes it more stable and better to use? Well, it seems as though this particular software update has been rooted, and it is now capable of running the stock Honeycomb launcher, thanks to developer CMW. To put it in a nutshell, your smartwatch is now able to gain access to the Android Market. Of course, this does not mean you can download just about any and every app or game there, considering the rather limited processing power and viewing real estate of the MotoACTV, but at least the potential is there.

Honeycomb runs surprisingly smooth for the kind of hardware that the MotoACTV carries, including a 600MHz TI OMAP 3630 processor and a mere 256MB RAM. If you happen to be a MotoACTV user, you are able to read about how CMW guides you through the entire rooting process.
