Nintendo Circle Pad Pro announced for the 7th of February 2012

Owners of the Nintendo 3DS, if you are looking forward to the Circle Pad Pro add-on for your console, the good news is that an official US release date has been announced for the 7th of February 2012. This seems to be in line with earlier reports that we would only be seeing the accessory next year and that Japan will be getting their hands on it first.

The press release also mentioned that the Circle Pad Pro will be available via GameStop and seems to suggest some sort of exclusivity. The good news is that the accessory will only set you back $19.99 which doesn’t seem overly expensive. Unfortunately unlike Europe who will be getting a “special limited edition” package of Capcom’s Resident Evil game, the US version of the Circle Pad Pro will come as it is.
