Here is some news for those of you who have been looking forward to what Qualcomm has on offer where the tablet scene is concerned – their souped-up Snapdragon S4 Liquid mobile development platform (MDP) tablet was recently on the receiving end of an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, where said tablet runs on a version of 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. This tablet is no slouch when it comes to performance, boasting specifications such as an on-die LTE modem, dual 1080p cameras and a slew of sensors which will definitely place it right at the very echelon of Android-powered tablets. Who would have thought that a port of Ice Cream Sandwich would have made its way so soon, and it is also nice to hear that Qualcomm intends to work hard to optimize the Ice Cream Sandwich experience for the S4 in addition to other Snapdragon processors that are already on the market.
