We know that HP has already decided to make webOS open source, but folks who are still rocking to webOS-powered devices out there must surely wonder which upgrade path should they take next when their device gives up the ghost? If you happen to own a Palm Pre 3 which is still alive and kicking, you might be interested to know that there is a software update which will bring the version number up to webOS 2.2.4. Forget about new features being introduced with this version update, as all you would be getting are software improvements and bug fixes. Well, at least there is still some semblance of activity with this operating system, although I do have a strong suspicion that this could very well be one of the last few updates that we will hear about. Having said that, did you know that webOS 2.2.4 is also out for Pre 2 handsets?
