Just as expected, the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX has hit Verizon Wireless like clockwork, where this new smartphone from Motorola will sport a rather huge 3,300 mAh battery – and we are extremely interested in the battery life benchmarks. Despite having such a large capacity battery, it still manages to remain relatively slim at a wee bit under the 9mm mark. Boasting up to 21 hours of talk time as claimed (anyone wants to stay on the phone that long to dispute that fact?), this is by far and large superior to the 1,780 mAh battery that is said to be able to last for 12.5 hours of talk time.
As for the other hardware configuration, you will get a 4.3″ SuperAMOLED display with qHD resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera that is capable of performing 1080p video recording. Not only that, it has Gorilla Glass in front for superior durability, and Kevlar is used at the back. Verizon Wireless offers the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX for $299 on a two-year contract, and if you do not want to get one without a contract, then it will cost $649. It will come in 16GB and 32GB varieties.
