Gears of War 3: Fenix Rising now available

Gears of War 3 Fenix RisingLast month we detailed Gears of War 3’s upcoming DLC – “Fenix Rising” and after almost a month of waiting, it’s finally available for download. In case you didn’t read about the new content, users will get four new character skins: Recruit Clayton, Thrashball Cole – Limited Edition, Savage Marauder and Savage Kantus – Limited Edition; new maps – Academy, Anvil, Depths, Escalation, and the Slab.

The DLC also includes a new experience system that lets players rank up through level 100 four times to unlock exclusive emblems and weapon skins. Basically giving hardcore Gears fans another reason to play through the whole game again. Gears of War 3 Season Pass holders can download the DLC for free, while those without the season pass can pick it up for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
