[CES 2012] The iOS app ecosystem is truly something that has changed the way the music industry works, but not to the extent that you are able to share music that you have purchased with the rest of your mates. That, my friends, would be a revolution, but we are talking about an evolution here – with ION Audio’s Guitar Apprentice. This unique peripheral lets you hook up the Guitar Apprentice to MIDI devices while you “strum” away on a touchscreen display, doing away with the need for a MIDI breakout box while ensuring you can record and perform with as little financial outlay as possible. The Guitar Apprentice will retail for $99 a pop, and you can check out a video of it in action on the CES showfloor here.
