We previously reported that Notion Ink was working on bringing Ice Cream Sandwich over to its Adam tablet, and it looks like they’ve made some progress since then. According to a blog post on the Notion Ink blog over the weekend, the Alpha version of the operating system is now ready for download. As expected with alpha builds of Android ROMs, don’t install it on your tablet if you’re going to need it as a daily device – quite a number of features still aren’t working yet (3G, Camera, USB, light sensor, HDMI sound etc).
However if you’re keen on having the latest version of Android on your tablet just because you can, you’re more than welcome to give it a shot. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully and back up your data before trying anything. Hit the source link for download links and instructions.
