You need not own a gypsy’s crystal ball or one of Saruman’s palantirs to know that the Apple iPad 3 is going to be a hit when it arrives, and hopefully when it makes its way to China, there will not be any scuffles that break out. Word on the street has it that the iPad 3 has already started to enter production, with Bloomberg reporting that Apple’s manufacturing partners will be working at full capacity by February before a March launch of the tablet. Some folks have claimed that the iPad 3 will be the best iPad yet, sporting a quad-core processor, a Retina Display as well as 4G LTE support. It would be interesting to see how all of that are crammed in without causing a dent to one of the iPad’s traditionally strong points – its battery life.

What do you think of such reports swirling around the iPad 3? Do you think that LTE support is a must-have feature in this day and age on a tablet, or are you willing to sacrifice such speeds for a better battery life instead? Other sources even claim that Foxconn’s factories will be churning out iPad 3s round the clock, although there is a short break to cater for the Lunar New Year holidays.
