Want to know which devices have reached End Of Life status on Sprint’s network? A recently leaked listing gives us the answers to which devices we’ll be saying farewell to this month and next. In case you’re unfamiliar with what a device’s end of life (EOL) is, it’s when carriers stop putting them up for sale to make room for newer devices. While people who own EOL devices can still get them fixed or replaced (at least while stocks last), other people who want to buy them won’t be able to from the carrier.
The latest EOL listing for Sprint shows the door to the Samsung M360, Samsung Trender Purple, BlackBerry PlayBook, HTC EVO View 4G, HTC EVO 4G and Sanyo Innuendo by Kyocera. It’s surprising to see the EVO 4G still on sale today, when it’s one of the older Android phones on Sprint’s catalog. I guess its popularity might have helped in keeping it around. Another interesting addition to the list is the BlackBerry PlayBook, which we assume is at its EOL from not selling too well. Or is a replacement on its way soon? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Will any of you be missing these EOL devices?
