[CES 2012] Are you an adrenaline junkie who cannot get enough of that good stuff pumping through your body, and have a love for watersports as well? Then you might just want to record your next wet water adventure with the Panasonic HX-WA2 waterproof camcorder that comes in a durable product design so that it will be able to stand up to far more shocks and knocks compared to the more ordinary camcorders in the market. Perfect for shooting underwater activities and scenes (that will not win any journalistic awards), the Panasonic HX-WA2 camcorder lets you submerge it up to 3 meters without drowning – albeit for a period of time, of course. In terms of image quality, the HX-wA2 does Full HD video recording, and shoots 14-megapixel images. Just in case you suffer from the jitters, there is Active E.I.S. (Electric Image Stabilization) that delivers a powerful hand-shake correction, resulting in clear, blur-free video or still images. Coming in blue and orange, I would settle for the latter since it is easier to locate just in case it slips from my hand while I am underwater. No idea on pricing, but do expect it to go up against Samsung’s waterproof devices in the similar range as well.
