Fans of the zombie apocalypse brought upon Raccoon City by the Umbrella Corporation will be glad to know that there’s a new game in store for the franchise. Capcom announced today that the next Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 6 is in the works and will be on the way sometime later this year. In addition to the announcement they’ve released a video trailer showing off what we can expect from the upcoming game.
While details are scarce at the moment, it’s safe to assume that we’ll be getting more of what the previous games had in store for us. Zombies? Check. Blood? Check. Weapons? Check. Plenty of scary dark places to explore and get ambushed in? Check. Except this time, the game takes place somewhere in China. Resident Evil 6 will be released on November 20th 2012.
