[CES 2012] The Sphero which debuted a couple of years ago as a smartphone-controlled ball might soon turn the tables – where this robotic ball ordained from Orbotix that receives commands from an iPhone, iPad or Android device sans wires could finally function as a game controller, according to the folks behind the Sphero over at CES. What it needs is a killer app to really fly off the shelves, but until then, it remains in the annals of being a curiousity more than anything else.
