If you happen to own Sprint’s Google Nexus S 4G, you might be in for a treat as it appears that a leaked Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM has made its way online, and if the reports are to be believed, it seems that this particular ROM is the official ROM and chances are that this is the final build the carrier will be pushing out an in OTA update.
Basically what this means is that for those who are too impatient to wait for the official Android 4.0 update to hit their Sprint Nexus S 4G, you will be able to download this ROM and flash it onto your handset, but for those who can’t be bothered to flash it onto their own devices and would rather wait for the official release, it looks like it might be closer than you think. The build number is IMM26, and if you’ve any experience in flashing or if you can’t wait, pop on over to the XDA forums for the download link and the instructions.
Once again we suggest that you should proceed with caution, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing, but if you do, it looks like you will be able to rub your Sprint Nexus S 4G with Android 4.0 in your friends’ faces in no time!
