One of the gripes most people have when using regular earbuds for exercising or outdoor activities is that they tend to slip out easily. yurbuds is looking to change that with the addition of several new headphones to their Ironman Series at CES 2012. As the name of the series of earphones might imply, these are not your typical earphones and appear to have been designed for the athlete in mind and could even be considered as “sports equipment”.

The three new models introduced at CES include the Inspire Pro, Endure Pro and the Blaze. All three models are supposedly sweatproof, water resistant and will even provide ambient noise protection which will allow the listener to be aware of oncoming vehicles and what not. Both the Inspire Pro and Endure Pro feature a 3-button control and Dry Mic that allows for navigation on iOS devices, with the main difference being that the Inspire Pro will feature an in-ear design, while the Endure Pro will feature a behind-the-ear support.

The Blaze on the other hand reportedly features top of the line sound quality in a behind-the-neck model, is lightweight and will sport yurbuds’ TwistLock technology. For more information you can hop on over to yurbuds’ website or check out the ad below that was unveiled during CES 2012.
