Angry Birds go to space

Ready for the next installment of Angry Birds? We know you are, and so does Rovio. It looks like the developer of the game isn’t quite done with it yet and is going to milk it for what it’s worth. Today, Rovio announced the next game in the Angry Birds series called Angry Birds Space. Touted as the biggest game launch since the original Angry Birds, it’s going to consist of mobile gaming, animation, retail and publishing.

Angry Birds Space is said to be “a completely new game with innovative new gameplay, but with some of the familiar Angry Birds elements that fans already know and love – plus some surprises!” More details will be released about the game in early March, with the game’s release date slated for March 22^nd, so it’s only about a month of waiting.
