When the Canon EOS-1D X was first announced sometime in the middle of January last month, the world of photography came to a standstill, as this proved to be an example (on paper) in perfection – at least for the moment. You could safely assume that photography enthusiasts were looking forward to the release of the Canon EOS-1D X, but here is a wet blanket piece of news – this epic shooter from Canon is up against a foe that no product would ever want to face, that is, a delay. The release date for this 18-megapixel DSLR shooter has been pushed back all the way to “late April,” as mentioned in various Canon press releases rolled out across different regions. This inconvenience was caused by a “delay in development”, and majority of the EOS-1D X accessories will also see a push back in their release dates to match the DSLR’s new date. Are you bummed out with this piece of news?
