Code PoemsIf you’re a developer and you pride yourself on the code you write (don’t deny it – some of you think that your code is like poetry!) you’re in luck. An artist and engineer Ishac Bertran has started a project just for folks like you. Called Code Poems, “The project aims to compile a variety of code poems from software engineers, artists and other code writers, exploring the potential of code to communicate at the level of poetry.”

All the submitted code poetry will be collected and then compiled (pardon the pun) into a book which will be printed and made available for sale. Criteria for submissions are pretty loose with the requirements being: poems are a maximum of 0.5KB in size, and that they actually work. If you’re interested in submitting your own code for a chance to be part of the book, head over to the Code Poems website, submissions end on May 31st.
