Very often, road rage victims find it difficult to obtain witnesses to their verbal testimony, but perhaps there is a tool out there which might help justice see the real situation and do something about it. The humble helmet cam could do the trick, recording all that the urban cyclist sees, and very possibly play a role in convicting dangerous drivers of their shenanigans. It is said that the incidence of road rage against cyclists is far higher than what most folks realize, but perhaps if cyclists take the effort to wear a helmet cam, they might be offered justice after being on victim of road rage – since there is video footage that can act as evidence in the court of law. After all, with more drivers being responsible for the number of accidents or near-misses with cyclists compared to cyclists’ recklessness and carelessness themselves, it makes perfect sense to do all you can to protect yourself right from the get go.
