The Sony PlayStation Vita is Sony’s latest efforts in the handheld gaming console scene. Based on various reviews, graphics on the Vita have been compared to that of the PlayStation 3, or at least close enough, but unfortunately at the moment there just aren’t too many games available for the console yet. However among some of the games expected to make its way onto the Vita, we’re sure that there are many looking forward to Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

While the game has yet to receive an official release date, its producer Hideo Kojima has decided to tease fans with some photos of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 on the PlayStation Vita. These photos were apparently taken during a re-recording of dialogue for the game, with the document you see in the background supposedly being the game’s script (any of our Japanese readers care to translate and confirm this?).

Oddly enough Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps a re-recording of that will be at a later date, but either way let’s hope that this is an indication that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation Vita is a step closer to seeing a release!
