You know for sure that a particular device is very close to being released when more and more leaks of it, in addition to accessories for it, are released or leaked onto the Internet. Well, some devices get more coverage than others simply because of its high level of desirability, and the Apple iPad 3 is one of them. What you see above could very well be the rear housing of the iPad 3, where there are minor albeit notable changes compared to its predecessor. The new shell is said to come with mounting holes that cater for a smaller logic board, and it is purportedly done that way to make additional space for an even larger battery. Apart from that, the camera hole and a different LCD mounting system is also present in the suspected iPad 3 housing. What do you think of this – is it the real deal, or just a red herring to throw rumor mongers off the beaten track? We do know that it gives no indication of whether a Sharp IGZO panel will be in place or not.
