Netflix now available on the PlayStation Vita While a 5″ display isn’t idea for watching your favorite TV shows and movies, it’s always better than having no entertainment at all. Well, the folks over at Netflix have made sure that if you own a PlayStation Vita – you’ll be covered by its services from launch day. The app is available now as a free download from the PlayStation Store. The app only works over WiFi at the moment, so if you don’t have a WiFi connection handy, it’s not going to be very useful. Other than that, it should be good enough for you to watch some shows while you’re taking a break from playing games.

Netflix: Netflix Inc is an Internet company that distributes video on-demand. As of 2012, the company operated in the USA, but also in South America, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Netflix was founded in 1997 in California and is still based in Los Gatos in the Silicon Valley. Of course, Netflix is also provides DVD rentals via regular mail, and that is actually how the company took off before becoming the entity that is said to account for 29% of USA download Internet traffic as of March 2011. Netflix is one of the largest customer of Amazon's AWS infrastructure business.
