Nikon my Picturetown image sharing and storage serviceNikon’s my Picturetown is the imaging company’s very own image sharing and storage service that are touted to deliver a bunch of new functions. Boasting an ever increasing collaboration with Facebook, it will let you post your links to shared albums straight to Facebook. Not only that, you are able to rely on your list of Facebook friends in order to send links to shared album. Another interesting aspect of my Picturetown would be the Motion Snapshot feature that will work in tandem with Nikon’s latest advanced cameras with interchangeable lenses, namely the Nikon 1 J1 and V1. For instance, when you press the shutter-release button to shoot a still image, it will record around a second of high-resolution, slow-motion movie footage that starts right before and ends after the time the shutter-release button was pressed. Whenever you play back such movie footage at 0.4x normal speed, the still image, and background music, Motion Snapshot will enable you to capture those cute little slow motion shots of facial expressions that we normally see in comedies. Anyone given my Picturetown a go already, and how do you find it? [Press Release]
