Good news for PlayStation Vita owners with Mac computers – a new firmware update will be rolling out this week to bring Mac support for the Content Manager tool. It looks like you’ll be able to finally copy and back up content on your Vita without having to use a friend’s computer. The update brings the Vita up to version 1.6 and includes a host of other new features such as a new Map app, and your Photo app now records video. The update will be rolling out on February 8th which is only a couple of days away. While this news won’t affect most of you reading this blog, let’s hope the US version of the console comes with the updated firmware at launch later this month.
