Now isn’t this a major gaffe by any company – electronics superstore chain Best Buy recently saw a public disturbance at its Greenville, S.C. branch as porn was playing back on the 55″ TVs, obviously catching shoppers by surprise. According to Gloria Berg who was there with her children, this was what she said to Channel 7, “I think even the word ‘pornographic’ doesn’t cover it. I have never watched pornography, so I don’t know what else you can see there, but to me, I really felt extremely violated.” No idea on how she arrived at the conclusion that what she saw was not porn when she admitted to never having watched pornography before. Logic should not be relative, and one does not simply walk into a Best Buy store just to catch a glimpse of porn.

According to Best Buy, “Two individuals accessed our store’s wireless signal to broadcast inappropriate content on a smart television display. In both cases, we worked immediately to disable the inappropriate content. We greatly apologize for this unfortunate incident and we are working to ensure that it does not happen again.” Hopefully that is the case, and will the pranksters look to doing something else with their time?
