We’re not sure how many of you guys here watch the Hasbro produced Transformers animated television show, but for gamers out there looking forward to more Transformers video games, you’re in luck as Activision and Hasbro have announced that they will both be teaming up to create a new video game called Transformers Prime (not to be confused with the ASUS tablet) which will be available on the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo DS and is scheduled for a release later this year.

Unfortunately not much details were given regarding what the game would entail, but it would basically involve “brawler-style combat” and “diverse driving sequences”, and players would be able to step into the shoes of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Autobot Ratchet, Bulkhead and more. Players will also be able to meet Jack, Miko and Raf along the way who are characters in animated series.
