Remember our story yesterday about a select bunch of new iPads experiencing extremely hot temperatures? I guess it makes sense for a few bad apples to pop up amidst selling 3 million iPads in just 4 days, and Apple has stepped forward to acknowledge the issue, claiming that the temperatures which the new iPad runs on is just fine, and is not going to be a cause for alarm or spontaneous combustion. Still, that has not stopped a thread on Apple’s discussion boards titled “New iPad Overheating?” to stretch beyond 17 pages since it kicked off last Friday. According to Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller who mentioned to FoxNews.com, the temperatures fall well within normal range. Muller said, “The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications.” So far, our review also did not burn down our office, but if you want to know just how well the iPad 2 stacks up against the new iPad, check it out here.
