Apple’s new iPad is expected to start shipping come 16th of March for those who have pre-ordered the device, but it looks like some units might have slipped through the cracks and have made their way into the hands of Tinhte.vn, a Vietnamese website who has since taken the opportunity to put up an unboxing video of the device. We guess this was kind of expected despite Apple taking certain measures to ensure that delivery does not happen until the 16th itself.

The unboxing video doesn’t reveal to us anything new, and there are definitely no surprises there. The video takes us through the box of the device, its contents and eventually the tablet itself, showing off the LTE toggle in the Settings. Unfortunately we can’t really tell how good the new Retina display is from the video alone, so we guess we will have to wait until we get our hands on the tablet ourselves before we can make a better judgement! The video is in Vietnamese, but it should be pretty easy to follow.
