ARCHOS G9 to receive Ice Cream Sandwich update in two weeksIt’s been quite awhile since ARCHOS announced that its G9 tablets will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich in the first week of February. Well, it’s already March and the update is still yet to be seen. However, it looks like the update will finally be rolling out soon. According to a post on ARCHOS’ Facebook page, the company will be deploying the update within the next two weeks. Here’s what it had to say:

“Regarding the upgrade to ICS: We apologize for the delay, but it is important to us to deliver a smooth transition over to Android 4.0 and to make sure that your experience is a positive one. We fully anticipate deploying the upgrade within the next two weeks. Thank you for your continued support of ARCHOS.”

Let’s hope they manage to keep their promise this time around. After all, we’ve already seen a video of Ice Cream Sandwich running on the tablet, it shouldn’t be too far away now.
