The iPad is not only an ideal device to watch videos on-the-go, but it has also proved its mettle as a portable gaming device. When you couple that with a top tier title like Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, you know that you have a potential winner on your hands. Touted to arrive later this summer, Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will feature a new touch-based platform, and according to the developer Overhaul Games, it will run “on an upgraded and improved version” of the game’s Infinity Engine, including the “Tales of the Sword Coast” expansion pack in addition to “never before seen content including a new adventure and new party member.” Not only that, Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition is also making its way to the iPad and the PC. To have a 13 year old PC RPG title run on a tablet is definitely an experience worth going through, considering how the title has already achieved cult status amongst gamers in the RPG scene. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition are able to play nice with the new iPad’s Retina Display.
