Last week EA announced that there were three Battlefield 3 expansions on the way, and thanks to the folks over at bf3blog.com, we get a small taste of what’s to come. Showing a preview from the first expansion, Close Quarters, we get to see a map called Ziba Tower. According to the description, and gameplay video, it’s going to be a map that features a lot of destructible objects and “vertical gameplay” which we can only assume means a lot of climbing or running up stairs.
No sign of any vehicles here (then again, it is part of Close Quarters) but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. The Battlefield 3 Close Quarters expansion will be arriving in June 2012, but one week earlier for the PlayStation 3. Check out the gameplay trailer above.
