Bose, the purveyor of all things high end where consumer electronics are concerned (in the audio visual category, of course), has just announced the Bose Bluetooth Series 2 headset. This is definitely not the first Bluetooth headset from them, so you can be sure with their experience in the previous outing, they are able to churn out something better than its predecessor. The Bose Bluetooth Series 2 headset will feature Bose full-range audio and A2DP, and you will be able to choose from right-ear and left-ear versions. Yeah, I myself did not know about that – making me wonder whether I am left-eared or otherwise, since I am a southpaw. Other features include a proprietary dual microphone system that will help improve speech intelligibility to levels that are touted to be far beyond that of conventional Bluetooth headsets, although it remains to be seen whether such lofty marketing claims will be reproduced in the real world. Each purchase of the Bose Bluetooth Series 2 headset will come with a portable zipper case, a one-foot USB cable, a power adapter with fold-flat prongs, and a trio of StayHear tips (small, medium, large).
