As it stands, the Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries are currently the longest lasting AA batteries in the market, but that fact does not mean that Energizer is resting on its laurels, but will work to further consolidate its position by introducing a power boost using a re-tooled formula. Among the changes introduced would be improved materials and construction, enabling these batteries to last up to 9X longer compared to 8X previously in digital cameras. Needless to say, Energizer has lost no time introducing the improved AA batteries to the scene, as they will be making their way to store shelves in due time.
Not only that, Energizer Advanced Lithium AA and AAA batteries are also able to last up to 6X longer in digital cameras according to Energizer’s benchmarks, and will be more affordable than the Energizer Ultimate Lithium just in case someone wants to see just how the Energizer brand fares. I personally have always preferred Energizer’s branding to Duracell’s, and when it comes to AA batteries, there is nothing quite like using a Sanyo Eneloop – for the sake of the environment, of course.
