While Genius isn’t exactly the first brand that comes to mind when you think about camcorders, it’s interesting to see the company create such products. Genius announced today the availability of its G-Shot HD575T camcorder in the US and Canada. With a width of only 2.28″, it is one of the slimmest camcorders available on the market, so it shouldn’t be too bulky to bring around with you wherever you go.
The camcorder shoots images at 5.0 megapixels and videos at 1080p. It has 5x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, auto exposure for easy on-camera adjustments, backlight for shooting pictures in lowlight conditions, dual SD slot support, 32MB of onboard memory, and a 3″ LTPS touchscreen display. The Genius G-Shot HD575T Camcorder is available now and carries a price tag of $169.99.
