HTCAccording to reports online, HTC has got a new phone in the works called the HTC Golf. The Android smartphone is said to replace the current HTC Explorer and will be a budget device aimed at first time smartphone users. The phone will feature a sub-1GHz processor, a 3.5″ HVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

The phone is said to be arriving in a “rainbow of colors”, and there’s a chance that HTC Golf isn’t going to be its name when it hits the shelves. Expect the HTC Golf to go on sale in late Q2 2012. I guess high end handsets aren’t the only thing to look forward to from HTC. Stay tuned for more details.
