Last year we reported about the Gizmon iCA: a case that turns your iPhone into a camera lookalike. Well, the folks behind the iCa have decided to come up with a new variant of the case. Called the iCA Military Edition, it brings you back to the days of military photographers and their Leica range finders. While it may be no longer possible (or too expensive) to get your hands on such cameras now, the iCA Military Edition case is probably the next best thing.
It transforms your iPhone into a classic looking camera, complete with a viewfinder and a top mounted shutter button. With the ability to attach macro or fisheye lenses – you don’t have to rely on apps to spice up your photographs anymore. The case is said to make the phone fit in your hand like a regular camera, which should make it easier to hold when you’re snapping photographs though don’t expect to be able to fit it into your pocket nicely.
The iCA Military Edition is also said to be durable, which should protect your iPhone from the bumps and hits it is bound to experience occasionally. The Gizmon iCA Military Edition is up for pre-order now and will be shipping out worldwide on March 17th. It carries a price tag of $70.00 – iPhone not included.
