We first took a look at one of King Jim’s devices a couple of years ago, and here we are with a different edition – the King Jim Pomera DM100 digital memo pad. This particular device’s strength allows you to take memos just about anytime and anywhere you are, where some of the new features include a straight keyboard as well as pre-loaded electronic dictionaries just in case you get caught in a moment when the right words just cannot dance across your head. Now, the big question to ask is this – how relevant is it to own a digital memo pad? After all, we do have our smartphones and tablets that would also do a good job at taking down memos, no? I suppose this is meant for those who want a dedicated device, instead of lumping everything else under a single banner.

Powered by a trio of AAA batteries, the King Jim Pomera DM100 digital memo pad will feature an SD memory card slot for you to stash away the created documents. Even better news is the three dictionaries that are included – the Meikyo Japanese dictionary MX, Genius English-Japanese dictionary MX, and Genius Japanese-English dictionary MX. Whenever you create a new document, you can easily reference a dictionary by pressing on a particular button. Another main advantage of the King Jim Pomera DM100 digital memo pad would be its ability to convert a document to QR code, where it can then be read by another device with a compatible software before it is imported as a text file.
