BlackBerry users have long been able to enjoy the Opera Mini browser for some time already, but this time around, there is a spanking new version in town – with the version number being bumped up to 6.5. Of course, you can always opt to download this particular version straight from Opera’s mobile website (m.opera.com), but if you prefer to take a different route, then Opera Mini 6.5 can also be downloaded straight off the BlackBerry App World – which is naturally a free download, of course. The browser currently sees action on over 160 million devices, so you can be quite sure that it is going to be more than a decent surfing experience on your BlackBerry device. Those who aren’t on an unlimited data plan will definitely appreciate Opera Mini 6.5’s ability to load sites onto Opera’s servers first, where just 10% of the data will be sent to your smartphone as Opera handles the rest.
