Resident Evil: Chronicles HD to hit the PS3Capcom, the company that recently just branched out into browser-based games, has announced that they will rely on one of their consistent money spinners (having raked in some dough from the box office as well thanks to the ever stunning Milla Jovovich), Resident Evil, to make an appearance on the Sony PS3. The new title will be known as Resident Evil: Chronicles HD, where it is actually a compilation of twin Wii shooters Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles. It will hit the markets later this June over PSN in the form of a digital download, so you can forget about any boxed special or limited editions if you are a fan. I like that idea, as it also cuts down on unnecessary packaging to boot, helping you do your part to keep the environment green. PlayStation Move controls will step in for the original Wii Remote configuration, but those who are uncomfortable with that can always rely on a standard controller to get through this horror title.
