Samsung debunks Galaxy S3 rumors

We do know that there is a Samsung Galaxy S3 that is being worked on even as we speak, but the recent rumor which occupied most of the weekend involving the April launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S3 has proven to be nothing but a fraud. According to Samsung, giving away release dates through the mouths of executives in an interview is not a practice that they indulge in, but rather, the moment the launch date is set, the South Korean consumer electronics giant will notify the entire world with Twitter as the channel of choice. You now know where to keep your browsers and mobile devices pointed to, no? Whatever the outcome is, we are rather excited that April is just a month away, so the Galaxy S3 will most probably hit the market before the iPhone 5 does. No idea on whether such a pre-emptive strike will work in Samsung’s favor or not, but I guess the hype machine that the iPhone rides on already offers it a huge lead over its competitors.
