Samsung develops its own version of Android face unlock Remember Android Ice Cream Sandwich’s face unlock feature that could be defeated by holding up a photograph to the camera? Well, it looks like Samsung has found a way to solve the problem. The company announced that it incorporated blinking for added security. So besides showing your face on the camera to unlock the phone – you’ll need to blink as well. A pretty nifty idea that would help solve the issue of people using photographs to face unlock a phone though I wonder if it can be beaten by a video of the phone’s owner blinking.

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets.
