Samsung Galaxy S value pack upgrade hits KoreaYes, we do know that the Samsung Galaxy S will not be on the receiving end of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, but that does not mean Samsung has forgotten about the smartphone altogether. No sir, if you happen to own this Samsung device and live in South Korea, here is a little bit of news for you – there is the official Value Pack upgrade that has been released, where you will get several Ice Cream Sandwich features thrown into the mix. I guess some might even call it Ice Cream Sandwich Lite, if you will. While your Samsung Galaxy S will not have Android 4.0 running underneath the hood, it will still come with Face Unlock, endow you with the ability to snap photos while recording video, in addition to improvements in the launcher department. Just make sure you have Kies 2.0 on hand as well as a fair bit of open storage space to get going. No idea on whether this particular update will make its way to the US, so stay tuned.
