It was reported last week that Acer’s A100 and A500 Android tablets would be seeing the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich come 27th of April. While that date appears to be still on track, it has been reported by several A100 owners that they have already started to receive the Android 4.0 update, a good couple of days before the official release. Of course we’re not complaining, so if you own the Acer A100 tablet, be prepared to keep hitting the System Update button in your tablet’s menu and hope that it will be able to fetch the highly-anticipated and much-awaited update. In the mean time we’d love to hear from Acer A100 owners who might have already downloaded and updated their tablet to the latest version Android.
