paperless meetings

Although the world has been travelling up a near-vertical technology curve with smartphones, tablets and blazing fast computers, paper is still used in business meetings to distribute and record information but now the iPad has an app that can change that. The native iOS eScribe for iPad app is designed to get rid of paper during meetings.

The company behind eScribe which shares the name says that the app will be available to use either with the cloud or an on-premise service. While there will not be paper on the table, every participant of the meeting will have to have an iPad. The application has many features and will let participants of the meeting register private notes and comments while participating in group chats and discussions.

Also available are the advanced features which allow users to directly annotate on documents and it comes with offline meeting capabilities. Offline meeting capabilities would mean that participants will be able to securely log-in with eScribe anytime during or after meetings to access all information including agendas, reports or relevant attachments.

Besides that , the developers of the app have also taken into consideration that participants might need to have some effects from a normal meeting featured on the app and implemented the agenda item synch, voting and request to speak features. While the app will truly mean the end of paper at meetings, it does also mean that each and every participant will have to shell out the cash for an iPad unless their employers put in the money to get it for them.
